001. I really love these leggings and really need to get my hands on a pair! I love this aztec print pattern and I think leggings like this are great if you want to stand out from the crowd! I would wear mine with a long white vest top, black leather jacket & studded loafers!

002. I think this jacket just speaks for itself. Goes with everything you can wear it with anything and it's going to last you FOREVER!

003. I first saw these shorts in last months company magazine (you can still vote for me here for 'Best Celeb Style Watch Blog' (please please please vote!))
and I immediately loved these shorts as soon as I saw them and only £30?! bargain!

004. Red jeans are a huge trend right now! You can snap these jean leggings (if you're not really a jean fan like me) from Select Fashion for only £12!

005. I really like the print on this top. It'll look great in the summer with blue denim shorts and it'll look great right now with jeans and leggings!

006. These shoes have been on my wishlist for a while now ever since my Linzi Shoes Wishlist post. I actually really like the idea of creepers now and can't wait to buy a pair!

I love these shoes! The heel on these shoes look massive and the platform on the shoes make people think they are unbearable to walk in but they are actually REALLY comfy! I'm going to be wearing these shoes so much in the coming months!

I love this leather jacket! It really does go with everything! I just love wearing it right now with the items of clothes i wouldn't normally wear as they clash with my coloured jackets. I've never really had a black jacket before so this leather jacket was such a good buy!

I absolutely love these shoes! They are faux suede and fit so well! They are stunning and I've had so so many compliments about them! At only £25 their a bargain too!

I'm getting into clothes which I wouldn't normally wear at the moment. It's one of my resolutions for this year. I also said (I would wear more jeans!) so I bought these leopard print ones which are by Glamorous at Ark Clothing. They were a bargain too at £29.99!.

I absolutely love these jeans. I'm really into patterned jeans at the moment and I've got my eye on this gorgeous stripey pair by Motel Rocks! I think patterned jeans look great with plain tops/blouses/tshirts and really do change an outfit and If any of you are thinking about getting yourself a pair of patterned jeans! (do it!)

I was lucky enough to be invited to Very's S/S 2012 collection in London last friday! After quite a few train delays I got there and it was so great to see some of my favourite bloggers Sophie,Kim, Jen,Kristabel & Kavita!

I absolutely love going to London for press events and it's one of my favourite things to do. There's nothing better than visiting the capital, meeting your favourite bloggers and having a good old natter and have a drink and some yummy food! I love seeing the collections before they are instore/online and I'm also making wishlists of what I need to buy next season!

These cupcakes were amazing! I had one of them and it was so nice and was raspberry flavour!

These brownies were so good aswell technically one of your five-a-day! ;) okay well the raspberry on the top is...

My favourite brand by Very is definitely the 'Love Label'. I love the candy coloured styles and the trims on the clothes especially the Aqua lace top. I loved the bright colours and can't wait to buy something from the new collection!

I really like the bright colours of the shoes especially these pink wedges! (definitely perfect for S/S 2012!)

How to wear Chelsea Boots

I think Chelsea Boots are something you either love or you hate. There's so many different pairs/colours etc available and I think you shouldn't get a pair until you've found the pair which suit you the most. I tried on pair after pair in River Island, Topshop, H&M and none of them suited me. They either were made for narrow feet or made my feet look absolutely huge! (being a size 7 this does happen with some shoes!)

One of my new years resolutions is to wear more things which I'd never wear. (Basically meaning being brave enough to put on those snake print leggings outside!) I always want to wear a bit more 'out there' clothes but I always feel like I don't have the confidence to. I used to be more experimental with my clothing until I started to care what other people thought about me. So this year I'm going to be a bit more daring and wear the clothes which I'd actually LIKE to wear out of the house (here comes the colourful leggings & patterned & bright shorts!) The red shorts are just the beginning of wearing something I wouldn't normally wear out of the house!

I really love Party Dresses and I'm always on the look out for that perfect Party Dress.
I hate it when you go out and you see 10 people wearing the same dress as it's your typical buy off the high street. I think it's much better to have look at small online stores as the dresses are normally a LOT cheaper and better quality too. I really like Party dresses from Goddiva and think there's some real gems on that site just waiting to be found! I think Goddiva is a fab site as it's so 'unknown' to so many people! Here are some of my favourites available online right now and they are all under £50!

You can't beat an LBD and Goddiva have a fab selection! My favourite is the third dress along which is a cocktail dress!

I absolutely love this teal dress too and I have a few dresses this teal colour!

DIY Studded Shorts

I thought I'd have a go at studding a pair of denim shorts! I want to give a new edge on an old pair of shorts I have and make them more unique. I think studding a pair of shorts is a great way to make them stand out, especially if they are black and plain like mine!

What do you need?
- An old pair of shorts (or any old shorts)
- A blunt knife
- A packet of studs (mine are from ebay here)
They took a while to come in the post but cost about £3 and came from Thailand so you can't argue!

They come in a pack of 100 (so hopefully they will last a while!)
All you have to do is position the stud where you want it on your shorts (I chose on the right hand side front pocket) and press the stud in using your hand, turn the shorts to the inside and press the backs down with your knife (use a blunt knife like mine!) It's tricky at first but after a few goes you will get the hang of it!

I'm thinking about doing a bit more studding on this pocket but as a first attempt I am so so happy with what it looks like right now!
Studding things is my new favourite way to update my wardrobe!

At Just 21, Jessie J hit our screens with the video for her first single 'Do It like a dude' with it's catchy lyrics she was number 2 in the UK Chart. Ever since Jessie J has had an ever-growing fan base and has gone from strength to strength.
Her biggest hit Price Tag was number one 5 countries including the UK, and was top 10 in nineteen other countries.
One thing I've always loved about Jessie J is how inspiring she is. She encourages people to be different, to do what you love and to love themselves just the way they are. I can't help but love her amazing fashion sense too!

I love how she turns up to events in now a simple ball gown. I love how she's experimenting with colours and wearing items of clothing which really stand out!

I've been a huge fan of Pixie Lott for years. So she's not just this weeks 'Style Crush' I've loved her style since her first single Mama Do. She's still 20 and she's had 4 successful collaborations with retail chain Lipsy which have all been sell outs too.. and I've purchased a Pixie Lott design myself which is featured in my Birthday Post!

I think she always looks stunning and I love her new short hair cut too! Me and my best friend were lucky enough to see live her a couple of days after she'd got her cut you can see her hair in this post! I love how she wears a lot of black dresses and how pretty much everything she wears has a different neckline too!

Barry M Instant Foil Effects Review

I love receiving late christmas presents, don't you?!
One of my friends Lily gave me some Barry M Nail Polishes a few days ago and I absolutely love them!

She got me these two foil effects nail polishes and a blue glittery one (colour no.297)
I was going to buy the lilac foil effects when I saw it in Boots the other day but I am so glad I didn't now. Anyway I thought I'd show you all what they are like!

I painted most of my nails silver but I like painting my second finger a different colour so I tried out the purple. I'm amazed that you only need one coat of this nail polish and that it looks amazing too!
The nail polish seems to be very chip resistant too which is always a plus! (yay!)
I'm so used to having nail polish which chips within two days!

I am so tempted to buy the gold one now too...

I've set myself a goal to post about my outfits more!
I think it's every bloggers nightmare right now to took outfit photos! The lighting is rubbish and most bloggers are so busy in the day with work/school/college/uni that's all the daylight hours gone :(
I really like this outfit because It's quite simple but on trend. I love love love this white sweatshirt it's perfect to go with jeans, leggings and shorts! I love these leather panelled shorts from Missguided. I think they do a similar pair in Topshop!

Style Crush: Caggie Dunlop from Made In Chelsea

Caggie Dunlop is an English Singer & Actress. She's best known for her role in E4 tv show Made in Chelsea. As one of the main characters in the show and her love life as the main headline she's living life in the spotlight. I have always loved how 'casual' she looks on the show and how she mixes high-street with designer.

I also think that she has amazing hair too! I really love how she makes her hair look effortless and how she's now being called England's 'Blake Lively!'

Happy New Year - Life In Instagram

First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all had great nights and are looking forward to 2012!

I had a pretty interesting December and got even more addicted to Instagram! Here are just some of the photos taken in December!

1. I got my first ever business cards!
2. I went to the clothes show live with one of my closest friends Beth (who also designs her own clothing range Uffinton which you can catch me modelling on the site!)
3. I tried out some more nail art, in the style of suits!

4. Here in the North West we saw some snow in December! It was beautiful and lasted only a few days.
5. I rediscovered my winter leggings (yay!) I think they're super cool still... haha I do get a few funny looks wearing them out and about but I love them and they are so warm too!
6. I went for a trip to the trafford centre with my friend Sam christmas shopping, when we had a break we headed straight to costa. Mmmm frosted mint hot chocolates...

7. In Pizza Express having raspberry lemonade on a shopping trip again to the trafford centre for more christmas shopping (some things just can't be done in one day!)
8. Before wrapping these up for parts of gifts for people for christmas I couldn't help but making a chocolate orange tower! Just think how good this would look on a larger scale!
9. I received a couple of fashion books for christmas. I love this Teen vogue guide and who hasn't got Gok Wans autobiography?!

Style Crush: Ashley Madekwe

A few days ago I discovered Ashley Madekwe. I came across her in one of my recent magazines and loved her style, I googled her name and found so many photos of her wearing the most beautiful clothes!
Then I found her blog called Ringmybell. She's an actress who's been on a few British tv shows and is breaking it in America and she has a passion for fashion and writes a fashion blog! I love how in her posts she's wearing a lot of Topshop and a lot of pairs of shorts (an addiction of mine) Ashley has the hair length I'd love mine to be and she's mixed raced too. I've found my style icon.

I love how she wears a lot of stripey clothes too, and I own the shorts she has from Topshop in the last photo on the right! I love how her style is quite casual and elegant at the same time.

I don't know If I'll have the chance to post on my blog tomorrow so I thought I'd post about what I'm going to wear this christmas today! (yay!)

I love these tights and they've featured a lot of my posts recently as I think they are perfect for christmas! I'm sure all of your have a skater dress by now. I have a couple skater dresses and I've seen them in so many of them in the shops these past few months so I am sure a lot of you have one in a couple of colours. I love burgundy still right now. It's such a fab colour and goes with pretty much everything (yay!) and at only £20 It was such a bargain as you can dress it up for nightwear and down for daywear.

I thought I'd do a post about ways to way purple jeans. I was just taking some photos and didn't realise they came up as if they are black on camera! (boo!) :(

Little Mix have been everywhere this past week. Everytime you switch on the tv, open a newspaper, search the internet or listen to the radio they are promoting the winners single 'Cannonball'.
There's something which hasn't gone unnoticed though which is what the band are wearing! They are attracting the attention of the fashion industry with their quirky dress sense and how they are not only the first girlband to win The X Factor but how they won it without even putting on a pair of heels!

I still can't believe it's The X Factor final tonight, feels like yesterday when Matt Cardle won! Tonights final is between Amelia Lily, Marcus; and for the first time ever a girl band, Little Mix. Looking back on previous blog photos, my style has changed an awful lot! Some of these outfits I still love and some of these outfits I'll never wear again. I can't say that I don't miss having longer hair but I suppose you never realise how long your hair was until you look back on photos to before you've had it cut!

These are all photos which have been taken every month of this year. I honestly didn't think I had changed much until I came across these photos!

I've become more daring and experimental with what I wear as times goes by!

Clothes Show Live 2011

Today me and my friend Beth travelled to Birmingham's NEC arena for The Clothes Show Live! (wahoo!) It was such a good day and I know a lot of you have gone/are going over the next few days!
(for those of you who don't know what it is it's a massive shopping event in the UK with a fashion show, famous bands and celebrities and of course SHOPPING! Which runs for 5 days every year in December at the NEC arena!)

my outfit (sorry for the bad lighting those of you who have been clothes show will know how bad the lighting is!)
I'm wearing a Republic Blouse, Topshop Shorts, ASOS scarf, Black tights and brogues from New Look!
I think comfort is the key to when your going to Clothes Show! I saw so many people in massive heels and just think 6 hours, shopping and 6 inch heels?! bad idea...

How to wear: Leopard Print Leggings (part two)

A lot of you have contacted me since the How to wear Leopard Print Leggings post to tell me how good and helpful it was. When I wrote that post 'Leopard Print Leggings' weren't seen as the 'item' of clothing to wear. Ever since I bought my pair from Topshop I've seen them everywhere since.
So I thought I'd do another post with different items of clothing I've been wearing my leopard print leggings with! (wahoo!)
Outfit One: T-shirt

How to wear: Wear this outfit with a grey zip up hoody and a pair of flat black shoes (I like to wear black Toms!) or wear it with a jumper and a pair of military boots (and thick socks too!)
Outfit Two: The Massive Jumper

How to wear: Wear this outfit with a snood (if it's super cold outside) and a long sleeved top underneath (probably white or black) and wear it with socks and a pair of ankle boots in black or grey!
Outfit Three: The Logo T-shirt

How to wear: Wear this outfit with a plain coloured cardigan of a thick knitted cardi to keep you warm in this weather! buy a t-shirt like this a couple of sizes too big (I think mines a 14!) to cover up your bum. You can wear this outfit with a plain zip up hoody too. The ideal shoes would be dark coloured toms/sneakers or ankle boots!

These are just a few ways I wear my Leopard print leggings as so many people find them really hard to wear but would LOVE to wear them!

It's really hard to find that dress you'll be wearing to your winter parties!
I'm still looking for mine! I think you have to check as many retailers & online retailers as you can so you have a wide variety to choose from.

I really like the womens clothing by ellos and I think they have a great range of party dresses. Which are all under £50!

For christmas It's best to stick to dark colours such as dark purple, dark blue and black or to go for the 'pastel' colours which are white,cream,beige and light pink. I would wear these dresses with thick opaque black tights and a shiny pair of black heels or black wedges!

Papp a Postcard: Christmas In London & win a £500 Topshop spree

For people who don't live in the capital it's seen really as an adventure to get on a train for 3 hours to London. It's a place I've never really seen myself until I started my blog and I don't think I'd have got the chance to unless I moved closer!
Me and Lydia went to London today! (yay!) I think we were just super excited as Lydia's never really been and I've only really been to go to events for my blog so just a venture round London was so much fun!

We started off attempting to get to Brick Lane... we bought our railcards to find out the Hammersmith line was closed and so were a few more due to engineering and over crowding or something like that so we ended up walking around from Moorgate to Aldgate (about 20 minutes i think) walking with only my phone to guide us! Eventually we found it and we checked out some of the lovely food shops brick lane has to offer!
(my camera died and I can't find my cable (boo) so I can't retrieve the photos just yet!)

We then went to Camden! It was so so busy but I think if it wasn't as crowded we'd have had a real good look to find some vintage bargains! Camden Market was really good! We then went to Oxford street I then remembered I had this awesome camera application on my phone and little phone battery so I took a few snaps...

Don't the lights on Oxford Street look amazing?! And who could forget the famous London red buses!

As you can see from these shots from my Iphone, Oxford Street was so so so busy today! were any of you there doing your christmas shopping? It was so over crowded and it took me and Lydia 20 minutes to walk from H&M to Forever 21 (which were 2 stores apart!) never have we felt so claustrophobic... I think there's a benefit to not living in London (something like that never happens unless it's the january sales at the Trafford Centre!)

And here's a couple of photos of Topshop, honestly some serious shoe lust over those studded loafers!

I thought I'd do another post about Christmas gift ideas for someone like your boyfriend or brother. I really like how some brands sell stylish accessories to go with their clothing. Carhartt at size have a wide range of clothing and acceossories and i've picked out my favourite buys which are all under £20!

These are all great for present for christmas and let's put it this way a man can never have too many pairs of socks! If your boyfriend or brother has an Ipad take a look at an Ipad case and every guy need a zip-up case to put their everyday essentials in!

These t-shirts are great! They're £19.99 each and come in these three colours but also red aswell. You can never go wrong with quite simple gifts such socks or a t-shirt and these t-shirts would look great with a pair of chino's and trainers!

I suppose a lot of people don't realise It sometimes takes a lot of photos to get the right ones to post on your blog. There's also the photoshoots of outfits which never actually made it onto my blog... so I thought I'd share with you all some of the shots which didn't make it onto my blog! (well they have now!)
Some of them are recent and some or them are from last year I've only just realised how long my hair used to be! aaaaaah!!

Christmas Gift Ideas for your boyfriend or brother!

I know what you're thinking. Christmas gift ideas it's not even december! I say it's better to be prepared with these things!

You probably think Chinos have been around for months now, but guys do need a pair or two of them in their lives. It's a great look going out as It shows he's a stylish guy! All he needs is a band t-shirt and vans and he's sorted!
You're probably thinking these cost a lot but each of these pairs of chinos are only £35 each! Check out the men's chinos at Bank now!

Another option is converse! I think most guys have a couple of pairs of these but they'll always be a really good present and at least you know they'll make good use of them if you buy them a pair of Converse! All these pairs are between £35-£50 so they are not over expensive either!

My last idea is a T-shirt. Superdry Tee's are known for to be stylish and at about £20 a tee they are reasonably priced too! I've got some Superdry clothes and I've never come across such comfortable clothing! These t-shirt's are great especially if your brother/boyfriend already has a pair of chinos they go perfectly!

These are just a few christmas gift ideas I'm hoping to do more posts like this the closer it gets to christmas! I tend to buy my christmas present around now (even though it's not december!) because it's about getting all your christmas shopping over and done with!

Always Wear Red & The Half A Million

I know I've already posted today but I couldn't help but post about the outfit I wore today. So many people have complimented me on how the red belt really makes my outfit stand out!

I'm wearing a leopard print scalloped vest top from Internationale, Red belt from Primark and Leigh Jeans from Topshop.

I never really wear belts but I think this outfit just goes right with a bright red belt as It's a good contrast. I think this belt only cost about £1.50 or some ridiculous price like that (!) I suppose It gives a whole new look to a simple outfit which you'd just wear with a chunky cardigan right now because of this super cold weather!
I never really wear jeans either but as it's so cold right now I'm wearing them a lot!

Fancy Dress Fashion

I don't know about you but a lot of my friends and people I know seem to be having fancy dress themed parties lately! I think it's great to go as something simple like a cat (boring I know) but I'm starting to think you should think outside the box a little more when It comes to these sort of things. I couldn't help but look at the great looking 80s costumes available at fancydressball.co.uk! I think there's a lot of things you can go as to a fancy dress party but It's always good to take a look online for inspiration and ideas!

These 80s costumes are my favourite on the site, especially that Superwoman outfit!
I also like how with fancy dress parties you can dress really over the top or you can go as a more 'subtle' outfit (like me and the cat idea!) I've been to parties where people have been rubix cubes, the a team, 118 men... the list goes on. I think at the next fancy dress party I go to I'll probably go as Superwoman not a cat this time!

I also love how fancydressball stock accessories to go with your outfit too! I love the choice of 70s fancy dress accessories on the site!

I'M A REDHEAD

I never thought I'd get my whole head dyed. I've always had highlights but never gone all out and had my whole head dyed. I know people say red's been overdone but I fancied a change what better than to take a trip to my local Regis Salon in Crewe to have it done!

I thought you may aswell go lighter as I was originally going to go darker as I thought it's going to fade in time anyway!

My Week In Instagram Photos

I suppose I never really do much 'personal' posts but I'm getting really into all these photo applications at the moment. I've always loved Instagram (oh yes everybody i've only just started it using it properly as I have two accounts so FOLLOW ME all you lovely instagramers?!)
These photos are from the past two weeks...

1. Me and Lydia made quite possibly the best brownies in the world. (They are based on Jamie Oliver's Bloomin Brilliant Brownie Recipe) and I've never had so many compliments for food I've baked. The original recipe says add nuts and dates but we added galaxy, white chocolate and M&M's (perfect alternative)
2. Chilling with my friend Ruth (we love Instagram woo!)

3. This photos on halloween, I had my face painted like a cat!
4. My new shoes from Linzi Shoes.

5. I bought 10 Nail Art pens! (yes 10!) and my money has never been so well spent. If you follow me on Twitter and on Facebook you'll know how much I love my black nail art pen and seen all the designs I've done thanks to it! So It's great to have 9 more colours to experiment with!
6. An App called 'Incredibooth' was free for the weekend on the App Store it's amazing! And this is me and two of my sisters messing about on the App!

7. One of my best friends Emily decided to have a formal birthday party and so this is me and Lydia before we went to her party.
8. And here's us at the party with another close friend of ours Jimmy! (with a formal dress code the guys had to wear suits it was like reliving prom...)

9. Most of you regular followers will have seen both these photos! These are my current nails (thanks to my black and white nail art pens) and so many of you lot seem to love my nails and this is quite a simple aztec print design (YES I did say simple!) so I'm not sure if I should do tutorials?!
10. These are some other new shoes of mine from Topshop... Oh the studs... so much love for them! I think pretty much every blogger seems to have these. Now I have my hands on a pair I know why! They really are the best shoes ever!

Little Mix have the Fashion Factor

I've never really liked any bands on The Xfactor until this year. I've loved Rhythmix (Now Little Mix) since they were first put together as a 'Group' on The Xfactor as each girl had auditioned seperately originally. They just worked so well and bring a completely different edge and look to any other girlband. What I've noticed they always look amazing! I don't think they get credited enough for how good they always seem to look.

Ever since their first performance at the Judges houses they've all looked gorgeous!
With their unique style and approach to music they're the only girl group to go so far in the X factor! (totally want them to win)

They have quite an street and quirky look and never seem to be afraid of being daring with their fashion choices. I love how they pair items of clothing you wouldn't normally pair together and make them look amazing such as aztec print hareem pants and a basic zip up hoody.

There's not a girlband in the UK like them so there's a huge gap in the market for them so I think they'll go really far!
Each week I love their performances and they bring some fun into The X factor.
I think for once The Xfactor stylists have done well for an act, I usually hate their styling but I absolutely love what they've done to Little Mix!

At this time of year I'm looking for a lot of casual wear. Jumpers, Snood, Coats & Boots and when I'm online shopping I usually check a lot of Womens Clothing retailers to see what they have on offer. I think it's a must to check as many retailers as you can before you purchase as a lot of retailers sell 'similar' products nowadays and for different prices. I also think about value for money and of course quality. I think it's easier to forget some online retailers as they may be branded as having an 'older' target market. Infact these brands are just as good as your typical Republic, Miss Selfridge, Primark and Topshop. I think La Redoute is a brand which could be forgotten about but after having a good look around the site I've come across some absolutely gorgeous jumpers... I think I might need one...

I was looking for some winter boots and I've come across these bargain fake uggs... They come in 4 colours too I think I might get a couple of pairs for this winter!

My favourite are the Chesnut brown pair and guess how much they are?! Only £7.50 a pair!
Another essential this winter Is a snood. I bought a couple last winter and I'm wearing them again as It's freezing outside! I think it's good not to just get them in a typical 'black' or 'cream' and to go for some colours you wouldn't usually go for. I've got a lilac snood and a dark orange one and believe it or not they go with a lot of things!

Leopard Print Blouse

This is not something I'd normally think about wearing especially colour wise If I saw it in a shop I'd probably walk past it and not even take a look. This was such a different purchase for me as it's something I'd really not go for. I saw it on a mannequin in Topshop in Manchester and It looked gorgeous with black shorts and I thought why not try it on. As soon as I tried it on I was in love...

As soon as I tried it on I loved it. I think it's one of those items of clothing you either love it or you hate it. This was a 'love it' moment.
I am wearing the sleeveless blouse with a black bodycon skirt (as featured in my last blog post!)

You can't see it that well but the blouse has a double peterpan velvet collar. Peterpan collars seem to have come back into fashion this season! The collar really makes the blouse stand out (not just by it's colour). I don't really go for high necklines so this was a big difference!

This blouse I think was £28 but with student discount I paid £25 something... and it's from Topshop. I wore it recently to London for some press days with a pair of jeans. It's weird how you think you won't wear something and then you wear it all the time!
This sleeveless blouse has a gorgeous leopard print on it and It goes so well with dark blue and black garments!

3 ways to wear: A Wine Coloured Tee

This 3/4 sleeve tee is a perfect wardrobe staple and when I saw this 'wine' coloured tee shirt by American Vintage I just had to have it!
Recently I've had a few readers contact me asking me to do more 'ways to wear' posts. I think an item of clothing shouldn't just be for the 'one' occasion and that you should wear it as many times as you can and in as many different ways. With tops like this they are quite versatile and easy to wear all year round. Here are just a few ways I would wear this top!

Top - American Vintage, Leggings - Topshop.
This top is long enough to wear with leggings so I've just teamed it with a pair of basic black leggings from Topshop. I wear black leggings pretty much everyday and to college this outfits perfect with a pair of flat ankle boots!

Top - American Vintage, Flag Print Shorts - Topshop
Another thing I love about this 3/4 tee is that it's the type of t-shirt which looks amazing with a pair of shorts/hotpants. I love Topshop hotpants so I've teamed this tee with my favourite pair of flag print shorts!

Top - American Vintage, Skirt - H&M

For a more elegant look you can team this tee with a basic black bodycon skirt. This skirt was a bargain buy when I was last in H&M and was £3.99! I love wearing this skirt at the moment with thick woolly tights and a baggy jumper. I think this top would look great with a baggy jumper as it's super cold outside right now!

Eeek! This is a pretty exciting announcement! Regis Salons have a new celebrity face and to celebrate this they've been setting up lots of competitions too!
Such as Locks Rock and Load where you can win a year's worth of hair service and a Cannon 550d camera! Which is run through Regis Salons Facebook page.

I know what you're all thinking from the title of this blog post, Spring/Summer already?! It's only just A/W! Well in the fashion world christmas press days have already been and gone and now it's summertime again. It's always amazing to go to events like these and have a good catch up with Sophie!

Always good to have a cocktail or two when you go to events like these, not sure what was in it but it tasted amazing! (this is Sophie's cocktail I forgot to take a photo of mine...)

This is a sale bargain I'm quite proud of. This January my best friend asked me to go prom dress shopping with her! It was a fab day and whilst we were browsing in Selfridges I came across this Wildfox Couture T-shirt in the Selfridges Sale, at normally £60-£70 a t-shirt it's a bit out of my price range but who can resit a Wildfox t-shirt for £20?! (yaaaaay!)

Wintery Choices from Pure Collection

Pure Collection is a brand I've come across before. It's not the usual kind of brand I'd normally go for but it's a lovely one. They sell mainly those pieces of clothing you'll keep in your wardrobe for the next ten years of your life and you'll wear all the time, my favourite is this Leopard Print Cardigan!
I really like this Wool Shift Dress which is a classic piece for your wardrobe and I love how when you would wear it it's like Audrey Hepburn chic without the black gloves (breakfast at tiffanys).
This Half Sleeve Ponte Di Roma Dress is a gorgeous LBD. It looks like the kind of dress you could wear day or night!
My favourite is this Cashmere Animal Print Cardigan! I love animal print right now so a cardigan like this is perfect!
And who could forget a classic coat... it's freezing right now! This double breasted jacket is a really lovely shade of grey and just think you'll be wearing this coat year after year!

TK MAXX: Store Opening

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to the opening of a new TK Maxx store in Warrington which is not too far away from where I live! I've never been to a store opening before but the buzz when one is opening is mad!

Considering the store was due to open at 9am I got there for about half 8. I was near to the front of the queue which was good! The queue was massive about 10 minutes later!

They had all the important people to do with the store outside waiting for the store to open. They cut the ribbon and celebrated by giving the customers who walked in first chocolate! (yumyum)

(It was so busy considering its about 10 past 9 in the morning when I took this photo!)

A few things caught my eye when I walked into the store. There was a gorgeous collection of scarves and I really loved this top...

I really loving all things embellished at the moment! Lucky enough I had a £10 gift card for being one of the first 100 people through the door! (yay!)

And recently I've been thinking about simple outfits which could be worn with heels. I wore this to college today with brogues and baggy jumper but It just shows how one outfit can be converted from Day-Night with the right shoes and accessories!

Skater Girl

The 'Skater' dress seems to be the dress of the moment and pretty much all of my friends seem to already own one. I think they are more popular as most of them are just in simple plain colours with a brown belt and they look fab with a pair of heels. I've opted for a stripey one. It's not something I'd usually go for but I seem to be a bit more daring lately...

My Multi-Retro Stripe Skater Dress was already a bargain at £20 but with the discount for FASHION-TRAIN READERS (check the banner for 10% off) I got it for £18!
Personally I was pretty excited about this bargain when it was coming in the post...

I love how this dress is tight fitting at the top and loose at the bottom it's very true to size. Size 10 is fitting me perfectly! I think this dress would be great for some of the parties going on right now and it's great dressed up or down. I'm thinking about investing in a wine coloured dress for later on this year... probably December time!

The Style Lowdown: Mobo Awards 2011

The Mobo Awards were held in Glasgow on Wednesday night and it's the awards I most love to watch. Mobo Awards stands for (Music of Black Origin Awards) and it's a ceremony where I love every artist who performs at the show and pretty much every artist nominated! (so it's 2 hours of worthwhile tv!) I normally find myself skipping bits of awards such as The Britt's as they really don't interest me...
But Yes onto The Mobo's I always watch these shows and analyse what everyone is wearing (think it's an instinct now) but here's some of the celebrities outfits!

I really loved Dionne Bromfield's outfit. You'd never believe she's only 15?! She sang an amazing tribute to her Godmother Amy Winehouse which was amazing! I love how Dionne look's classy and stylish at the same time and her hair looks gorgeous too!
I've not really heard of Yasmin but she's getting bigger and bigger and I like a few of her songs but her outfit for The Mobo's really stood out, doesn't she look absolutely stunning?!
Jessie J took home 4 Mobo's on wednesday night which is amazing for an artist who's been around less than a year. I absolutely love her and think she's so inspiring. I think this bodysuit suits her down to the ground considering it's all she seems to wear in her music videos!

I'm not sure what to make of Katy B's 'Telephone' Dress. It's erm interesting? But let's put it this way, only her could pull it off!
I think Jessie J can either look amazing or just really awful... I will always love her music and she looks amazing in the bodysuit in the Style Loves section but I'm really not liking this black lace number... funeral anyone?
Not sure whether R&B singer Alexis Jordan is trying to relive the Michael Jackson era with the Tassels but I just think she looks awful in her dress. Why can't she just got for a simple LBD instead?

Who could forget the stylish men from the event? Rizzle Kicks are looking casual but smart at the same time with their trousers and casual with a plain jumper and a baseball cap! I'm not sure whether I like Labrinth's outfit but he pulls it off. I don't think anyone else will EVER pull off a bright orange suit with a turtle neck and who could forget his Topmman shoes?! What a stylish singer (wahoo!) And there's Dappy from N-Dubz sporting his usual Attire Na Na Niiiiii!

How to wear: Leopard Print Leggings

I showed you all in the post below my latest wishlist, which included some Leopard Print leggings from Topshop. Having been uber disapointed by them being sold out in my local store I was lucky enough to be near a Topshop today (yay!) and they had them in stock in a size 10! (eeek!) and so yes now comes the problem of what to wear them with. Leopard Print is the big trend right now and leggings are a hard one to master, but I think I've got it sorted!

I seem to be constantly finding new online retailers and this is just another one I've come across which is ellos.co.uk and they have the most gorgeous range of wintery boots and they are all under £50! which is just a total bargain for that pair of boots you are going to wear everyday through winter!

I think this A/W you need a pair of wedge boots. Not the OTT massive heels sort of wedge heel you'd wear on a night out but a small heel. I really like the 1st pair of shoes which are £45 because of the dark brown colour and how they are lace ups too!
I also like the 4th pair which are slightly cheaper at the bargain price of £39 which is amazing for a leather pair of shoes! (eeek) *adds to wishlist*

UGG Love

I think UGG Boots won't go out of fashion for many years to come, especially their traditional short classic UGG boots. I'm not a huge fan of the newer ranges of UGG boots but you can't go wrong with a classic pair!

UGG boots have been seen as the 'affordable' designer shoe and have been seen on a LOT of celebrities including Jennifer Anniston, Kate Moss, Nicole Richie & Eva Longoria just show how high demand UGG Boots are.

But the question is why wear them again this winter?
They are comfy they are made to look stylish and the boots are designed to look fashionable and to be worm when there is snow or ice on the ground, or when the temperature is below freezing.

I really like the chesnut brown pair and think they are absolutely perfect for A/W and even S/S if you're in England and it's raining (as usual!) I keep meaning to save and buy a pair but at about £150 it's a hefty price tag!
Maybe this A/W I'll get round to buying a pair!

College Fashion Week: Day 6+7

I was really busy yesterday and by the time I tried to take blog photos, it was all horrible and rainy and it went dark about 15 minutes later! So day 6+7 are both in this post :)

I decided to go for 7 days worth of looks as it's now day 7 and also this is just what I wear on a daily basis too. I like to alternate my clothes during the week (as you can see from the outfit photos) that some of the items I'm wearing are the same.

1. Top from £15 from - Ark Clothing, Scarf - £13 from River Island, Shorts - £28 and Leggings - £12 both from Topshop and Boots - £35 from Linzi Shoes

This is the sort of outfit you could put together in a matter of seconds. Teaming the cardigan with a black cardi, or just any cardigan infact will look perfect anyday of the week.

2. Rolling Stones T-shirt £20 from Sugar Bullets, American Flag Shorts - £28 from Topshop, Leggings from Topshop & Boots - £35 from Linzi Shoes.

This is for the more teenager side of me. A band t-shirt and some american flag shorts go perfect together! I'd team this look with a zip up hoody. I know Topshop have some awesome coloured ones in at the moment, but why not take a look at these Hearts & Bows zip up hoodies too.

3. Sweatshirt £35 from Truffle Shuffle, Shorts £28 and Leggings £12 from Topshop Boots - £35 from Linzi Shoes.

I genuinely believe every girl needs this sweatshirt in their wardrobe. Anyone remember hit American TV Show Saved by the bell?! Love love love it. This sweatshirt is exactly like the one Kelly Kapowski wore on the show (she was my fave character!)

4. Cardigan £22.99 from Heats & Bows, Sleeveless Blouse and Shorts from Topshop, Tights from Primark £1 and Brogues £20 from So You Shoes.

This is a typical 'vintage' inspired look I like to go for from time to time. Who can resist a chunky knit cardigan and a pair of patterned tights?!

Yes all you readers look at this outfit photo will think I'm mad... yes I'm WEARING JEANS! I never thought this day would happen anytime soon but it has. I went shopping with my friend Beth the other day and she said I should try on a pair. So we went into Topshop, I tried on what felt like 10 pair of jeans and I came across this pair. They have a more 'jegging' feel to them and they don't make my legs look big so I love them! :)

I'm wearing this cardigan a lot now. It's so versatile and perfect for the horrible weather right now here in England!

This top has been my most recent purchase and It's very wearable anytime of year so for £8 it was a bargain. I loved how good it looks with shorts and i've also been wearing it with jeans too!

Sorry for the uber late post had a very busy day! When I tried to take photos earlier the sun wasn't in my favour. There was a massive grey cloud which soon turned into a lot of rain!

College Fashion Week: Day Four

Playsuits are just for summer right? WRONG playsuits are becoming thee item of clothing to wear all year round with the right clothes and accessories. Add a belt, a vintage necklace, a scarf and you're good to go.

I'm wearing a Glamorous Playsuit from Ark Clothing and it was £26.99. It's the perfect playsuit for A/W 2011 and you can dress it up or down! I think it looks great with a wedge boot (like mine from Linzi Shoes!)

I think when it gets a bit colder a quilted jacket like mine from Republic which was about £50. It's really thick material and it's very warm. Republic also sell the jacket in a gilet version which with a slightly cheaper price tag and great too!

College Fashion Week: Day Three

Today for college a dug out one of my old scarves which cost me a few pounds from Primark! I'm loving this cardigan right now and it was only £22.99 from Ark Clothing. It's already been featured so far for college fashion week and I'm sure it'll be featured again before the week is out!

My top is £15 from Ark Clothing, My scarf was about £3 from Primark. My cardigan was £22.99 from Hearts & Bows, My shorts were £26 from Topshop and my boots are £55 from Next.

This sort of outfit I wear on a daily basis in general (not just as it's college fashion week) I'm starting to think a cardigan like this is a real essential for your college/uni wardrobe. I really like this outfit!

College Fashion Week: Day Two

I've been getting a bit obsessed with band t-shirts at the moment, so this post is 4 ways i'd wear a band t-shirt! I wore my guns and roses one too college today as it was wet and windy :(
The other photos were taken yesterday (so that's why its not wet on the ground!)

This type of outfit i'd wear on a sunny, but dry day! I think it's great as it's a bit quirky and it's a bit different too. When it's colder i'd wear this outfit with a chunky cardigan. It's perfect for going to college, sixth form, uni etc for a comfortable/stylish look!

This outfit is the kind of outfit I wear everyday. These shorts are my favourite pair of shorts as they go with absolutely everything. I also think every girls needs at least two of these Jersey Cardigans in their wardrobe, at £8 a cardi and so many outfits for it to go with, how can you go wrong? I'm lusting over the teal one...

4. Guns & Roses t-shirt from Sugar Bullets £20, Leggings from Topshop £12, Hearts & Bows Cardigan from Ark Clothing £22.99

This cardigan is my new favourite thing. It was only £22.99 and it's an absolutely necessity for A/W. Berry seems to be the colour of this season and just wearing this cardigan today I've had so many compliments! It's lovely and warm and goes perfectly with vests/t-shirts and shorts or leggings. I really love it and will be wearing a lot this A/W!

College Fashion Week: Day One

Due to the success of Festival fashion week (wahoo!) back in July. I thought i'd do another series of posts. These ones will be called 'College Fashion Week' I'd originally planned these posts for a week ago, but better late than never!
These posts will be mainly inspiration/ideas of what to wear especially if you are about to start university, in your second/third/fourth year of university, going back to college/sixth form or starting college/sixth form!

So Let's start with Monday...

Monday's the most likely day which you are going to put the most effort into what you are wearing. So today i've gone for this pink cape sleeve blouse from Boohoo.com which was only £20!. I really like this blouse as it's the type of blouse you can wear for daywear with a pair of leggings and some wedge boots like mine from Linzi Shoes or some flat shoes such as ballet pumps & brogues. You can wear this blouse aswell for daywear with jeans, or tucked into dark denim shorts. For nightwear you can wear this blouse with a platform heels or some massive black wedges with leggings and some vintage jewellery.

Everyone Needs Motivation

So it's September, how time flies. I planned to write a post yesterday but I didn't get round to it. I still remember New Years Eve like it was yesterday and to think we are now 9 months in to 2011 is a bit scary, but what a year it's been! I'm planning on some 'college fashion posts' again which is exciting so keep your eyes peeled :)

Everyone needs some words of motivation every now and again. I was so happy when I came across these gorgeous bracelets which are handmade from Bekl Motivation Bracelets and at £2.99 its a price everyone can afford to add one to their accessories collection.

mine says 'Someone is only special if you tell them'. I think it's great how you can order a bracelet off the site and what it says could be any sort of quote but then it really makes you think. Like with mine I think I need to tell the people who are special in my life that they are special. I suppose if you believe in fate and that sort of thing these bracelets are the sort of thing for you!

I'm all for handmade items and I am so glad I have one of these bracelets, it's been a good festival staple as when your at festivals (if your like me) you somehow end up without about 10 bracelets on?!

The Red Floral Playsuit

When you are on holiday i'm now convinced playsuits are an absolute essential. I lived in playsuits whilst I was recently away in france and I really loved this one I got from Desire Clothing! (for fashion-train readers they offer 10% off too!) yaaaaaay!

sadly when these photos were taken it wasn't as sunny as it should be! (france was a bit of a disapointment this year on the weather side of things)

At only £22 this playsuit is a really good buy too!

I think with this sort of playsuit it's not just for summer wear but can be worn in the evenings too like for someones birthday or out for a nice meal with friends :)
with some wedges this outfit would be perfect!

Joe Browns A/W 2011

Just over a week ago I was lucky enough to be invited to a preview of the latest collections from online store Joe Browns.
The event had about 15 other bloggers too which were all absolutely lovely some I've never met before and some I've met at events before.

We were welcomed with mexican themed drinks and yummy samosas! (but sadly they were all gone before I could get a photo!)

They had covered the whole office in bunting!

We watched a presentation from Joe Browns himself, the womenswear buyer & the menswear buyer. I love how Joe Browns doesn't follow the same ethos as most brands and like to be unique and offer fashions for the people who want to stand out with what they decide to wear.

We were given time to look around all the rails of clothes and tried what we liked on. I tried on this massive chunky knit grandad cardigan. (I absolutely loved it and so did lots of the other bloggers!)

It was such a great evening and it was lovely to meet everybody who went too!

What I've tried on in Topshop

When it comes to shopping I'm one of those people who likes to take a photo and then try on the next outfit and then compare to which looks better, or to whatsapp (its a smartphone application which lets you send photos and text through a wifi/3g connection) a photo to my best friend (this is if she's not with me) to see what she thinks of my next potential buy. I'd realised about a week ago that there's a bit of a collection of photos from outfits i'd tried on in Topshop this past 6 months or so I thought i'd do a post to show you some of my potential buys and what i'd bought too for that matter!

I'm rubbish with trying to remember the prices but I do know that all these photos are from things i've tried on in Topshop. I loved the t-shirt on the left but it was too bright for me, and I bought the shorts in the right photo.

I wish i'd bought the jumper on the right now but I wasn't too sure about it at the time but i've got the shorts instead!

The outfit on the left is an outfit i've bought most recently for a local festival I went to at the end of july. Who can resist a pair of high waisted shorts and a crop top?! (yay to vouchers)

When I thought about giving the t-shirts another try and realising they weren't for me at all, they are a gorgeous design though! I bought this REBECCA print playsuit by inlovewithfashion @ Topshop to wear on my birthday as a treat and I couldn't just leave the playsuit in the shop... I mean it was made for people called Rebecca!

I've never posted about Lingerie before but I think when you get older you want to find that perfect bra and that perfect set of matching bra & underwear and you take more care and attention with where you get your lingerie from. With a whopping 27% say that wearing a pair of underwear that’s unattractive or doesn’t fit well can ruin their day. (yes quoting statistics here of 18-34 women)
With 47% of women say they feel sexier and more confident wearing a nice or special pair of underwear. there's now more choice than ever or what type,shape,sizes lingerie to buy. Ann Summers Lingerie have a large selection and i'm sure there's something which will catch your eye.

Before now I knew there was about 6 different types of bras you could buy but looking at sites like Ann summers and figleaves it makes you realise how many types their REALLY are. I love the idea of having a matching bra and underwear and here are some of my favourite matching sets available on the Ann Summers site.

Statistics have shown women are spending more and more money on underwear to make them feel better about themselves and how they are feeling that day, what do you think? does this effect you?

Festival Fashion: Sarenza Metallic Hunter Wellies

I've become a little bit obsessed with wellies as these few months have passed and I absolutely love my blue metallic pair of hunter wellies they are from Sarenza.co.uk and are just perfect for the festivals!

I've decided to go for an outfit which is perfect for any festival (maybe leeds?) which you maybe going to this week. I'm wearing a scalloped vest top and shorts from Topshop.

These wellies were such good value at £60, cheaper than your normal pair of Hunter Wellies! I think every girl should invest in a pair of hunter wellies as they really are worth it, especially for the festivals in the years to come (yay!)
I think this blue is a great colour if you want to stand out from the crowd but not be TOO noticeable.

My other outfit to wear with these blue metallic hunters is just simply adding a pair of leggings and changing the top to a different colour and i've chosen navy!
I love these tops from Topshop as they are perfect all year round with jeans, shorts, leggings, skirts so they are very versatile.

The Colour Block Maxi Dress

When you're going on holiday you always think you've not got enough holiday clothes. I find myself thinking what on earth do I wear? Well for the past year the maxi dress has been the ultimate holiday saviour (yay!) it's the dream item of clothing (well for on holiday anyway) you can be wearing no make-up and have your curly beach hair and still look amazing! the maxi dress just completely transforms your outfit! I've started to have a collection of maxi's now. The ones I bought last year still look as great this year too so I'd invest in a couple of these bad boys maybe 2 or 3? or you could just go all out and get like 6 like me...

My most recent maxi dress purchase was a last minute one from Desire Clothing for about £14 I think it was with the 10% discount code available to all fashion-train readers when you type in 'fashiontrain' at the checkout. I don't think you can get more of a bargain for such a gorgeous dress!

Yes this dress really was £14! It's very on trend right now, who can resist a colour block maxi dress? It's elasticated at the top so it's a great fit around the bust area and it'd be very flattering on curvy body shapes too. For a night out wear with a denim jacket and wedges (depending on your height) and for a daytime look just team it with some sandals if it's sunny!

I don't think i'd genuinely wear something like this but I wore this all the time, especially to the beach with some sandals whilst I was away!

I teamed my outfit with some white sandals. I don't think i'd have ever worn white sandals either, but they look amazing. So elegant and smart and they look ten times better than a tan brown pair (yay!)

These sandals cost me just less than £10! They were in the sale how could I not buy them?!

Can you really go wrong with an glamorous outfit like this, perfect for your holidays for under £25? Yes that means more spending money! (wahoooooo)

I'm back! Yay! back to blogging, back to normal back from my holidays. I think when you go away you become more and more obsessed with how you look on the beach. If you're like me you have a few bikinis and you alternate depending on your mood. Now the more I know about fashion the more I see that there's a bikini for your body shape not just one you like the pattern of. I hope I don't become too conscious about what I wear on the beach and I hope to find bikinis which I feel comfortable in.

My New Hair by Regis Salons

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to get my hair cut by my local regis salon! I absolutely love my new hair.

(this is my old hair curled it was very long!)
If you remember my hair is very long and I've never really dyed it so I fancied a change & this is my new hair!

They curled it at the salon too which was fab, I have purple highlights underneath and they took about three inches off!

I love my new hair and i've had so so many compliments for it. The purple has faded a bit now but it's still quite bright and the new layers in my hair are great too. It look fab curly now so i'm going au natural more often!
I just thought i'd write about my new hair and my trip to my local Regis Salon because I had such a great service and picked up loads of tips to keep my hair glossy and shiny! (yay)

Hello Pixie Knitwear

I suppose you think I'm mad right now, posting about a cardigan! But I suppose at this time of year, in England it's either really hot or really cold. But anyhow, I thought I'd show you all my latest purchase from Pixie Knitwear!
It's a gorgeous cardigan and I love love love the bows on the front!

I kind of have a love/hate relationship with cardigans, like i didn't expect this cardigan to be as big and chunky as it is! It works well as a blanket and let's put it this way, this winter I will NEVER be cold!

I love the big arms on this cardigan but I think I would love this cardigan even more if It was a bit shorter in length. I love how unique this cardigan looks and how eye catching it is though!

Oasis Vintage Collection: Biscuiteers

A few weeks ago, I was sent the coolest press release ever! I seriously think more companies should come up with ideas like this... Pippa from Clashingtime was an intern at OASIS HQ, we've been following each others blogs since we both decided to make one!
It was lovely to receive an email from her asking for my address to a few days later to receive a delivery and I really had no idea what it was!

Instead of being sent an email with a press release of the new vintage collection, I received it in the form of biscuits! These were genuinely the nicest biscuits ever...

Need I say anymore? I had to photograph them quickly I really wanted to eat them! They were so so so so so so so good!

Holiday Snaps

Recently I went on a holiday for a few days in Wales with some friends! It was so much fun and it was great to just explore wales and go to the beach whenever we wanted. I thought I don't do many 'personal' posts so maybe it's time to feature one!

As soon as we got to wales we were on the beach, it was lovely and sunny!

We decided to walk across a bunch of cliff edges? I don't know what else to call them... can you spot me and Lydia? we look like small dots...

Later on that night we then went back in the sea at about 8/9pm and had a BBQ on the beach too. It was something i'd never do normally and to be on a beach at 8pm watching the sun go down whilst your in the sea is beautiful! Also the beach is so peaceful too as nobody is on it at that time!

I like the sea more at night I think. The last photo of me and Lydia looks like a postcard! I had a fab time in Wales and there are lots more photos, but these are just my favourites!

A New found love: Nail Art

I love going to blog events, as the people there have the best nails ever! And also because some of the time you get a free manicure too.... but recently i'm becoming more and more interested in nail art. I think it's because of the amount of colours which are out now and how reasonably priced nail polish is. I love Barry M and Models own nail polish especially!

My leopard print nails. They took a while to do but I absolutely loved them!
And most recently at the NEXT christmas press day. I just had to take a photo of Kristabel from iwantyoutoknow.co.uk's nails! Aren't these amazing!

She said the aztec print took her about 3 hours to do.
& Finally I had my nails done at the Press event... I just couldn't decide on a colour... so why not have 5?

IT'S MY BIRTHDAAAY!

Regular readers and my twitter followers and people I know who are reading this blog, will know that today is MY BIRTHDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!
I'm off camping today and then after that in France for 2 weeks so the blog will be a bit quieter :(
But yes back to my birthday! I had a birthday meal a couple of weeks ago because a lot of my friends are on holiday on my actual birthday. My best friend Lydia came round to get ready at mine and I was waaaay too excited to wear my new Pixie Lott for Lipsy playsuit which I bought from K & Co. I'm a massive fan of Pixie Lott and to finally own a piece from her festival collection is the best thing! I wanted to have a really nice meal and so it was well worth it getting this Pixie Lott playsuit! :)

Once we'd done our hair and make-up! and here's some photos of us in our heels too!

I constantly seem to be discovering online stores which sell the most gorgeous swimwear! I am loving Cocolush.com right now especially their Swimwear from Phax. Here are my favourite bikini's from the collection...

They are a bit more expensive than the amount of money I'd personally spend on a bikini, i'm going to have to save. I still think these bikini's are absolutely stunning and well worth the money as i'm sure they'd last for years!

The 1st bikini is £112 and I love the colour of the top of this bikini and the pattern is gorgeous!
The 2nd bikini is £70 and I love how it's so classic but has got the beading on the bikini top. And finally the 3rd bikini is £65 and I love the horizontal stripes and star pattern!

Festival Fashion: Tiger Tiger Tiger Print

I think animal print is making a comeback this summer. Especially printed on to tops & jumpers. I've recently purchased a tiger print top from Republic which I've been wearing so much lately!

I'm wearing it with a bandeau top underneath because the top has low arm holes! It's a great top for summer as it's thin and lightweight and has a quirky pattern on it. It looks great with any pair of shorts, leggings, jeggings and of course jeans!
I'm wearing this outfit with black hunter wellies from Wellie-Web. For a festival look.

I've never really been the biggest fan of cropped jumpers, but I absolutely love this one and how it's long enough to be tucked into shorts! This jumper is now in the SALE at Republic and is only £10! You can take a look at it here. What do you think of this outfit?

Festival Fashion: How to wear The Metallic Wellington

Firstly, this is my 500th post on my blog! wahoooo! :)

Whilst looking online of glamour.com I came across this photo of Jameela Jamil and realised I have the same dress she wore to V festival last year! I thought it'd be perfect to style with my new hunter wellies from Zalando. My dress is from full circle at Oli.co.uk

This dress is gorgeous and the studding on it's beautiful. I love how this dress is so lightweight and perfect to wear to a festival. You may have seen it from here.
I love these wellies too, they are so bright and they really do stand out!

It looks great when you wear the wellies with bright colours too. I'm wearing my wellies with a scarf from H&M which I got in the sale a few years ago and a red dress which I recently bought from Ark Clothing from the brand Hearts & Bows. The Hollyoaks Music Show

There a few things I really didn't think would happen when I first started writing this blog, one of them was to be on Tv, going behind the set of one of the biggest tv soaps in the country Hollyoaks and meeting lots of famous people!

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be invited down to The Hollyoaks Music Show. It was a really memorable day and I had so much fun! I was with two other bloggers which were Emma from Whatemmadid & Sara from Saraluxe. I read both their blogs a few times before and they were so so lovely to meet in person!
My day was a long one, I left my house at about 20 past seven that morning and caught a train to Liverpool with a Macdonalds tea in hand!

But probably the coolest and the worst photo of the day was when I met rapper Mann, you know the one who sings the very catchy tune Buzzin?
I was pretty much starstruck and I thought when am I ever going to see him again? So I just had to have a photo, sadly only one was taken and I didn't realise how bad the lighting was! So yes I look pale...

On the day we saw Wonderland, SixD and Mann and lots of the Hollyoaks cast!
The members of the cast which I met were so lovely and easy to talk too. But yes If you're not from the UK you won't know what Hollyoaks is but it's very big in England. So if you're in England and you are reading this post before 9.30am you can catch me on tv on CHANNEL 4 on the Hollyoaks music show & 10.30am on channel 4+1 and anytime over the next few weeks on 4OD.
I'm nervous to what it looks like on tv as I've not seen it yet, but let me know if you catch me on tv and let me know what you think!

Festival Fashion: American Print Shorts

Recently i've come across quite a new online store called My-Yard which sells women's and men's clothing. I can only describe their clothing as one off stylish pieces. As the clothes they sell are on trend and their the sort of pieces you won't find anyone else wearing!

I bought these reverse american flag denim shorts which were £38. They are such a great fit and I really like how they are frayed differently on each side. I really like the alternative look american print and the whole american print style right now is massive if you've seen the american print shorts in Topshop!

For a festival look i've added my black hunter wellies which are from Wellie-Web and were the cheaper price of £54 when I bought them! (yay!)
These are the kind of shorts you'll wear next year and years after. They feel great on and they are very unique and stylish and don't make you stand out from the crowd too much!
